GRANDRIDGE 245 COMMUNITY CHOIR

MEENIYAN SINGING SESSIONS

(All-ages casual attendance community singing group) meets the third Monday of the month at Meeniyan Hall, 6pm – 7.30pm $18 ($15 concession). No session in January.

SOUTH GIPPSLAND QUEER QUOIR

Last Sunday of the month 1.30 – 4.30pm: A LGBTQI+ and friends raucous singalong of a queer anthemic song, in Meeniyan, followed by a casual afternoon tea at Moo’s cafe. Even if you just want a good laugh, come along and join in. Jane will get you singing no matter how rusty the vocal cords and Tanya will accompany on guitar till the bitter end. Then we’ll retreat to Moo’s for coffee and cake or a G&T (you’ll need one!!).

Here’s all the important info:

Day: Last Sunday of the month (no session in Dec or Jan)

Time: 1.30pm for singing 3.00pm for arvo tea

Venue: Usually the Meenoyan Cricket Club on the Meeniyan Rec Reserve, but not always, so please contact jane.coker@bigpond.com to confirm venue details. Arvo tea/drinks will be at Moo’s cafe, Whitelaw St Meeniyan.

Cost: $12 for the singing session.  Spend what you like at Moo’s!
